DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP)—Danica Patrick’s full-time venture into NASCAR’s Nationwide Series is off to a rough start.
Patrick wrecked in Saturday’s season opener at Daytona International Speedway, not the way she wanted to start her first full season in stock-car racing.
Patrick began the 300-mile event up front after becoming the first woman to win a NASCAR pole since Shawna Robinson in 1994.
