I think there was an Adam Sandler movie where he inherits a football team and the star Qb comes in and says i had great year i want more Money, and sandler replied if you had a bad year could we pay you less?you signed a contrct get the fuck out of here.more owners should do this .When the Giants dealt with Unmenyora and his contract that was front loaded and he wanted more money they said no.Then after showing who was boss a year later they gave him a bonus for helping them win a superbowl out of the goodness of their heart not by being blackmailed. That's how its done.I'm sure the Jaguars arent going to lose much if he holds out. What, they win 3 games instead 2 if he plays?

That's exactly the way I see it, you are professional making a ton of money in the NFL, focus on getting ready for next season and helping your team improve. Both sides have to respect the contract, after that then you can ask for more if you want.
