BOSTON (AP) Boston Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli says goalie Tim Thomas is considering taking next year off for family reasons.
Chiarelli says Thomas is ''worn out'' and thinking of skipping the next season. The GM says the team is proceeding as if the two-time Vezina Trophy winner will not be available next year.
Thomas, who's 38, expressed an interest in playing in the 2014 Olympics.

Living in Boston I have to say Tim Thomas is one weird cat. He brought us the Cup really almost on his own but he might have been brainwashed in Finland when he played there
