Support for 1Q pick on Clippers –In their 11 home games since jan 1 against > .500 teams, Clippers are a phenomenal 10-1 ATS vs the 1Q line, with an average lead of 7.5 points after 1Q, while in their last six as road dogs, Nuggs are 2-4 ATS vs the 1Q line, with an average deficit of 7.5 points after 1Q. And in the game between these two at Staples TY, shortly after Clips upset Nuggs in Denver, the Clips took a huge 13 point lead after 1Q, but could do little right after that, getting outscored by 34 the rest of the way for one of their few home losses this year, and unquestionably their worst. The Clips will be out for revenge, and this time Nuggs don’t have Gallinari (17 ppg and 5 rpg), who scored 21 to lead Nuggets in that win in LA (Gallinari out until after AS break with sprained ankle).
