Every time no one hits the pot goes up 10%. Some hits goes back down to 500. Once a score is taken you can't choose the same one (first come first serve).

if it was basketball then I wouldn't be surprised not having a winner after a bunch of weeks since the odds of picking an exact basketball score are extremely low.

well, you're not going by what was said.

I said there should be a winner. you said no. there are no such restrictions in the contest of only being able to pick one team five times. You can pick whatever score you like. So for a side bet, I want the same rules as the contest. I think that's only logical.

I bet I'd pick the winner more often than not, based on a random sampling, or picking every game on the slate.

sunday night baseball is a random sampling as far as difficulty, because they aren't chosen based on the games with the highest totals, and that was where this arose from in the first place.
