NBA All Star Game Contest.

All entries must be in by 7:30PM Eastern Time on Sunday, Febuary 26th. Even if the game has tipped off before 7:30PM the contest closes at 7:30PM Eastern time. No entries will be accepted after that time.

The contestants who score the most points by their answers will win the prizes with the exception of the dead last prize which is self explanatory.
Each of the ten answers has been assigned a point value as you can see.

To qualify:

1. You must be a registered poster at Askthebookieforum.com
2. You must have an account already open (need not be funded) at America's Bookie.com
3. For new registrations effective Feb 15th or later the 50 point entry fee rule is waived for one entry.


Eligible posters can play up to three entries each - only one poster may enter per IP..
Each entry cost 50 Poster Points from your accumulated point totals (waived for one entry for any new registration since February 15th 2012.

Prizes:
1st Place: $150 Cash in your America's Bookie account
2nd Place: $100 Cash in your America's Bookie account
3Rd Place: $50 cash in your America's Bookie Account
Dead Last: $50 cash in your America's Bookie account

No rollover on prize money required.

Pick one answer from each group of two questions.

1. Total points scored by both teams in First Quarter - Odd - 5 Points
2. Total Points scored by both teams in First Quarter - Even - 5 Points

3. Total Points scored by both teams in 1st Half - Odd - 5.5 Points
4. Total Points scored by both teams in 1st Half - Even - 5.5 Points

5. Total Points scored in entire game by LeBron James - Odd - 5.5 Points
6. Total Points scored by in entire game by Kobe Bryant - Even - 5.5 Points

7. Total rebounds credited to Dwight Howard for entire Game - Odd - 5.5 Points
8. Total rebounds credited to Andrew Bynum for entire Game - Even - 5.5 Points

9. Total Points scored in entire game by Eastern Conference - Odd - 6.5 Points
10. Total Points Scored in entire game by Western Conference - Even - 6.5 points

Tie Breaker #1: Total number of free throws attempted by both teams in entire game.
Tie Breaker #2: Total number of Field Goal attempts by both teams in entire game.
Tie Breaker #3: Total number in attendance at game according to announced attendance by NBA.com
The total attendance will be:
1. Odd
2. Even
Example If NBA.com announces attendance at 19,606 that is even - if they announce it at 19,607 that is odd. The correct answer is if the the number in attendance is Odd or Even. Remember zero is considered an even number.

Overtime counts in all tiebreakers.

Tie Breaker #4 - total number of personal ATB posts as of 7:30PM Eastern time on Sunday, Febuary 26th. by posters involved in any given tie. I will not count posts made after that time if any prizes are awarded based on Tie breaker #4.

If still tied the prize involved will be split.

In the event any of the following players are unable to play for any reason you will get a substitute (Listed below) they will be no options available to entrants to select their own substitutes.

Dirk Nowitski for Kobe Bryant
Roy Hibbert for Dwight Howard
Marc Gasol for Andrew Bynum

If both players in a particular category do not play for any reason Paul Pierce in the East and Steve Nash in the West will be the substitutes regardless of category.

Substitutes only count if main player above does not participate in the game for any reason.

Zero is considered an even number for grading purposes.

No editing allowed..

After the ten questions are graded ties will be broken and the winners announced.

Askthebookie.com Forum management reserves the right to rule on any unforeseen events that may effect the contest.

The ruling on any dispute by Askthebookieforum.com management is final.

There will be no private emailing of plays by contestants to hide their plays at anytime of the contest.

This contest is for you posters to enjoy so please do not argue about or criticize the picks of your fellow contestants, at least in a non joking way.

Tie Breaker #1 - 49 Free Throws attempted in entire game.
Tie Breaker #2 - 221 Field Goals attempted in entire game, including 3 Point attempts.
Tie Breaker #3 - Odd or Even.

If the game goes into OT those stats count just like regulation time stats do.


Stats will be those posted by NBA.com to determine answers. I will try to answer questions in a timely matter if they posted in this thread only.

I reserve the right to correct any errors made in the creation of this contest.
